PHYSICAL EDUCATION & HEALTH Development of fine motor skills is a key area of development for students focusing on how this contributes to their growth physically and mentally. Students work collectively to develop competencies for mental wellness, safety management, and the nutritional needs.	TECHNOLOGY Developing broad technological design skills is a key focus in Technology. Through the use of modern equipment like 3D Printers and Laser Cutters, students are able to express their ideas and designs to show their understanding of a given design aspect.	SOCIAL SCIENCE Explore how societies work and how people interact within them. We learn about different cultures, New Zealand histories, and the factors that shape our world. By understanding these, we can think critically about our place in society and how we can make a positive impact.


THE ARTS Creativity is driven through three key areas within The Arts. Drama focusses on human expression through time and space. Dance is expressive movement to integrate thinking, moving, and feeling. Music explores and represents ideas through music composition and DJ.		ENGLISH Students are taught to speak, read, and make sense of information through literature, movies or music. All students are nurtured and guided to become effective oral, written, and visual communicators who are critical with their thinking and ideas
	MATHEMATICS Students explore number and strand concepts, and are taught how to use symbols, graphs, and diagrams to understand mathematical concepts. Through designed models, students showcase their thinking of hypothetical situations within a mathematical context.
